About Me

 

Based in South East Queensland, I have been breeding and handraising birds for almost 20 years, and love what I do. I grew up with many animals. My dad bred Australian Parrots, and grand parents bred and showed dogs. I worked in Animal Welfare for 15 years, and over the years supported various Animal Welfare groups. 

 

My first Eckie ‘Jerry’ is almost 24 years old and still going strong. Since then we have added to the flock- including CoCo and Cory our pair of Red Tail Black Cockatoos, Charlie Boy and Charlie Girl our pair of Gang Gangs, Becky our Vos Eckie, Dolly our Blue and Gold Macaw and our new family member Rhys our Greenwing Macaw. I have also bred and hand-reared sun conures, quakers, cockateils, alexandrines and Hahns Macaws.

 

I started sourcing parrot toys for them and decided to get creative and make my own. All our toy parts are bird safe and made from materials that wont harm your bird. The hardware is stainless steel or nickel plated and zinc free, the beads are lead free, the wood is untreated and the vine products are natural. We use a  FDA approved Dye and plastics which are lead free. We aim to create quality products at competitive prices by sourcing products and materials from various suppliers and manufactures locally and overseas. 

 

We are planning to offer some of our products and toy parts to wholesalers and distributers. Im working on that. If there is something your looking for you can contact us.
